Digital Art and Design

Game Of War is an online mobile game published by Machine Zone.  During my tenure on the project, it consistently ranked among the top apps worldwide in terms of revenue, grossing over a million dollars per day .

I worked as a graphic designer on the project, creating ad layouts for dozens of international campaigns.  My contributions included everything from 2D/3D design, animation, typography, composition and layout.

I created this layout as part of a promotional pitch. I built everything from scratch with the exception of the character, who was an existing villain from the game that I re-rendered and composited into this scene.

I created this ad for the Japanese market in an effort to mimic the UI style of popular jrpgs.

Note: I didn’t create the character art for the monster, however I did animate him and gave him a fairly extensive paint-over.

The following are examples of other ad campaigns that I created for the game. Since the ads were displayed as .gifs, the animation required as few frames as possible. That meant ensuring that everything in the scene looped as seamlessly as possible.

Note: The soldier models were existing in-game assets created by another artist.
